Jessica + Thom | St. Johns Cathedral Wedding

After doing Jess and Thom’s engagement session a couple months ago, I got really, really excited to shoot their wedding. Jess has these eyes that just pop!! And Thom always looks at her and holds her with such love and tenderness that I knew it was going to be a great day. It seems that brides and photographers have the same prayer every morning of the wedding: “LET THE WEATHER COOPERATE!!” And it did… it was gorgeous and warm and sunny.

The day started for Jessica and her bridesmaids at St. Johns Cathedral in downtown Boise.  I love these shots Luisa got! She mentioned that the bridesmaids were such a hoot! They waited on Jess and fulfilled her every wish; they kept her laughing and relaxed. Everything that a bride could wish for.

While the day for Thom began at the Grove Hotel just a few blocks away.

Thom and Jessica had a beautiful First Look in the front doors of St. Johns.  It was beautiful!

I loved this part of their ceremony. They took two separate flames and together lit the ‘unity’ candle. What a perfect representation of marriage and of themselves. 

The reception was held on the top of the CW Moore building in Boise.  It was a gorgeous evening!  Perfect for a rooftop reception.
