Chris+Rachelle : Boise Wedding

When Chris and Rachelle told me they were going to do a New Year’s Eve wedding, I immediately got excited.   Their wedding was absolutely beautiful.  Not only because it was in the beautiful rustic 1906 Adelmann Building in downtown Boise.  Not only because Chris and Rachelle looked amazing.  Not only because it was New Year’s Eve and there was an excitement about.  But more than anything, there was a certain happiness around.  More than usual.  You could tell that Chris and Rachelle were absolutely perfect for each other, and everybody knew it and shared in their joy.  Chris and Rachelle were incredibly gracious hosts, and had their guests both laughing and crying throughout the evening.  It was an amazing night.

The afternoon started with a first look.  I LOVE a first look.  A bride and groom gets to see each other for the first time all on their own.  And they can just soak up each other’s beauty and enjoy this small moment before they get married.  LOVE it!

After the first look, just before the ceremony, we snuck outside and walked around the block in Boise.  It was…freezing!  Chris and Rachelle were amazing!

After the first dance, there was LOTS more dancing.  More than once, I had to try to keep from laughing (unsuccessfully) so that I could keep taking pictures.  The night was a blast.
