Life Thru the Macro: First Times…

There is a page in Jace’s baby book that is entitled: ‘First Time for Everything.” There is a list of categories like: ‘First Time Sleeping Through the Night’, ‘First Time He Laughs’, ‘Claps His Hands’, ‘Rolls Over’. So far the most entertaining category was: ‘First Time Eating a Solid’. After the expression on Jace’s face of that first bite, we could barely stop laughing to continue.

Jace’s disgust at the taste and texture, turned to outrage as we laughed at his expense. Poor guy. I can’t blame him. That stuff looks nasty, smells nasty, and tastes nasty. Maybe next time we’ll try the ‘applesauce’ or ‘peach pear’ combination. Jace can’t complain too much though. We could have started with squash or peas. ; )
