iPad 2 & My 10 Favorite Apps

Yes, I was one of those crazies. One of those ridiculous people that actually waited in line to get my hands on an iPad 2.  The wait was crazy.  The lines were crazy.  Was it worth it?  You bet.  I actually had a blast.  And I’d love to share my take on the iPad 2…

Baby Home Studio Setup

First things first. I’m no newborn photography expert. Not even close. In fact, before Jace, I had never done any sort of baby photos. About a month before Jace was born, I decided I definitely wanted to try to do some baby photography. I had heard the best time is between four and fourteen days…

Mallory - I’m totally in love with the floor! I’ve been struggling about what to do about that, and it never even crossed my mind to just go buy a little of it to just lay down. Thank you so much for posting this! :) p.s. my backdrops are fabric too :)

Katie - Just stumbled upon this–thanks for sharing your tips! My own little one is due any time now, and I’m completely inexperienced in photographing newborns. I’ve been looking for something like this to show me how to set up a background. I’m bookmarking this post. :)

Looking back on 2010!

This is something I’ve wanted to do since…well…since the end of 2010.  I’ve had a blast going back and digging in last years archives to come up with some of my favorite images, moments, memories, experiences, families and couples of 2010.  It was by far the best year of my life (so far).  Luisa and…

I’m Addicted

Woah.  It’s Monday.  And here I am (Nate), blogging instead of Luisa.  Luisa was more than willing to add another installment of Life Thru the Macro.  I just felt a little sheepish.  You see, recently, her posts WAY out number mine.  And that’s embarrassing, because…well.  She only posts once a week.  So here I am…

Life Thru the Macro: A Family Date…

Nate and I are suckers for a night out on the town and we decided long before we had Jace that we didn’t want that to change after we have kids. We still want to make our planned roadtrips to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon for later this year, we still want to…

Misty - You guys BETTER plan on Jace seeing his “cousins” when you visit Yellowstone! ;) We will meet you somewhere if needed!
Good luck with the sleeping through the night part…..

I’m Hopeless

It’s a good thing I don’t have to be in front of the camera much.  To ANYONE who has ever tried to take a picture of me, first, I’m very sorry.  But I’m sure you can attest that I don’t photograph well.  My body convulses and twists while my face contorts into some random shape….

Mallory - hahahaha ohhh this post made my day!

Crissie - I love it! I am the EXACT same way. I could not be more painfully awkward in front of the camera. It hurts. I think these pics are so great though! They totally show your personality. I’d hire you just from seeing these! :)

Kori T. - Those should DEFINITELY go on the “about me” section!
