The Sessions Family | Boise Family Photographer

I had a great shoot with the Sessions family the other day and wanted to post a few of my favorites.  I don’t take on very many family sessions each year, and I’m so glad I had the chance to photograph these guys!  I also got the chance to try out a new location.  Win…

Sachin Khona - Oh man, these are amazing. Is there anything you can’t shoot well?

Beautiful Nate!

Really love the one with the flare sunlight and the one of you framed as a shadow.. epicness!

So good!

Laura Radniecki - Good grief, Nate. These are unbelievable! I’ve been to most of those places and I dare to say, I think you’ve made them more beautiful than they are in person. Or at least close. The Antelope canyon photos look like Peter Lik’s.

Did you carry a tripod with you on your hikes? Lenses you used for most of these?

You sure are a landscape photographer!

Nate Perkes - Thanks so much everyone! I appreciate it a ton. And Laura, I do usually carry a tripod with me. It’s a smaller one so it doesn’t weigh me down. Almost all these were taken on a tripod at about f/16-f/22 usually at a pretty slow shutter speed. I think almost every shot in here was taken with the Nikon 17-35 2.8 which is a great lens past f/5.6. Most of the Antelope Canyon pictures were 10-20 second exposures.
