Thanks for sharing! I was so impressed how respectful and classy and amazing (and I know I"m not using the right words) everything was. It was not a "gimmicky, for the web" wedding. It really truly was a special day.

Hey Nate, great job with the Creativelive/jasminestar workshop. Photos look great. I also saw on your blog ghat you just did a bridal/model shoot with Jess in NYC… I went to Hs with Jess, you were right when you said how awesome she is. The world is a better place with all the humanitarian work that she does.

I have been watching right along with you all and I couldn't agree more with what you are saying. Jasmine is ALL that AND a bag of chips..lol:) There are no words to describe what I am learning. She has managed to make me cry and laugh more in these past 2 days than I have in a month. I told my hubby she is my Puerto Rican soul sista:) I love Creative Live for doing these Awesome Courses~the Internet has given us creative humans an awesome outlet to share, inspire,teach,learn and be INSPIRED every step of the way. Dude, great recap, great photos. And I've been jealous, wishing I could be there too, maybe even in your shoes. UNTIL YESTERDAY WHEN IT WAS YOUR TURN TO SHOOT. In the chat room we were all sweating that with you. Talk about pressure. You did great though, at least from the outside looking in. Life has been crazy lately, and I’ve definitely neglected the blog. But great and amazing things are happening. For example, I’m sitting in the Las Vegas airport waiting for my connecting flight to Seattle to attend the Jasmine Star and CreativeLIVE workshop! En route to Boston for a corporate photo shoot, I met my Mom, Jen Perkes, in NYC to do a Bridal shoot of Jess. The shoot was unbelievably fun; lots of laughing, lots of screaming because the light was so good, LOTS of staring onlookers, and lots of getting kicked out of buildings I guess…
Wow! How awesome is it that you and your mom both share a passion (and a TALENT!) for photography! Fantastic images and well worth the run-ins with security guards

Wow. I just realized I've spent a lot of time being inspired.
Erika - That definitely summarizes everything nicely! One of my favorite things that Jasmine said that weekend was in her interview with Chase Jarvis at his studio before it all started: "The opposite of cold isn't hot. It's just not cold." She gives everyone permission to be REAL and not worry about doing everything "right"….it just has to work for you. =)

Nate Perkes - @Trysha: ME TOO! Inspiration IS great, as long as that's not all we do. I think it works something like this: Become Inspired, apply and learn from it, THEN CREATION comes, infused with YOU and your personality.
Jasmin - Your No. 1 is my No. 1, too! Honestly, I have three businesses over the last three years and most of the time I tried to hide each of them inf ront of the clients from another – because I always thought it would have an unprofessional outcome if they see that I do some other things, too. But now I've learned to be myself, buzz my business BECAUSE of the three different sides it has, because that's ME! Thanks for sharing your TOP TEN! It will make its way to my To Do-List, directly! But now: Stop getting inspired, off to CREATE!
